      How We Partner

Sharing ideas for a smarter future

Creating a better, more responsive educational system to help kids learn. It’s our goal — and maybe yours, too. Through partnerships with the educational community, the Kingsbury Center works with researchers to design and execute custom research studies, and offers access to our Growth Research Database — the single largest known repository of student growth data in the United States.

Our collaborative work with think-tanks, school districts, universities and foundations is helping to connect education policy research to student learning. We’re developing partnerships with school systems that support applied research in schools. And we’re inspiring the next generation of leaders through internships and research support for graduate students.

      Opportunities to collaborate

Researchers or organizations who wish to partner with the Kingsbury Center to pursue research or projects to benefit the educational community are encouraged to contact us to learn more about how our data may be useful. Costs and services are calculated by project scope.

      The Kingsbury Center
      Data Award

The Kingsbury Center Data Award program is designed to help graduate students and unfunded researchers use longitudinal student growth data in their research. Data awards are granted twice each year.

Award recipients receive, at no cost, a dataset comprised of data relevant to their research needs, plus technical assistance from our research team.

Data award winners will be selected based on their proposals' technical strength, as well as the importance of the problem, clarity of the proposal, and relevance to the data contained in the Growth Research Database.

To learn more about the award, or to request application materials, contact kingsbury.center@nwea.org.
