      Internships

The Kingsbury Center does not have a formal program at this time, but we do hire research assistants (“interns”) on a temporary basis for full-time and part-time assignments during the academic year and during the summer. We are primarily interested in students who are studying in the areas of psychometrics or educational policy.

Interns at the Kingsbury Center will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of projects that will advance the organization’s agenda while allowing interns to develop their professional skills. Projects will be in the area of policy and methodological research, including literature reviews; collecting, presenting and analyzing data; researching policy issues; and writing brief articles and contributing to larger publications. This program is designed for doctoral students who are capable of doing a wide variety of tasks working with senior research staff.

Applying for an Internship: If you are interested in interning with the Kingsbury Center, please email a resume and writing sample, along with a cover letter or e-mail explaining your interest, to kingsburycenter@nwea.org.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
